The interior has a series of rooms furnished in Tudor, Regency and Georgian style with furniture of that period and tapestries. One of the staircases is a spiral. There is a billiards room with full size table - Many rooms have useable fireplaces. There is an Armoury of 150 yards.

The floors are mainly oak wooden boards. The Stone Parlour has ancient stone flags.

The Gardens surrounding the house are mainly divided into compartments:

A Sunken Garden (always) full of colour.
A white and grey garden with four fine Yew Topiary Birds,
A Physic Garden with charming Well House.

The complicated Yew Maze is over 6 feet in height and trees surround the Parterre with its ancient Oak.

The Kitchen Garden in Victorian style with greenhouses and surrounded by walls with views of the Church and an early Penitential Maze.
