Internally Culcreuch has many fine features including a remarkable Bottle Dungeon, so called as the bottle shape meant a prisoner could not lie down, an Aumbry and hand painted oriental wallpaper dating from 1723 in the Chinese Bird Room.
There are also a number of magnificent fireplaces as well as superb old panelling in the Dining Room.
The basement contains two barrel vaulted cellars.
There is what remains of an old wheel staircase and the first floor has a single large room - the original Laird's Hall.
