Culford is an independent school situated in 480 acres of beautiful Suffolk parkland, with Culford Hall, a magnificent 18th century mansion, at its centre. In holidays and at other times by arrangement the buildings and grounds are used for a wide range of events, from fashion shoots and luxury car-promotion days to weddings, private parties, conferences and art fairs.
The park was landscaped in 1794 by Humphry Repton and the gardens are beautifully kept, making a stunning backdrop. The iron bridge of 1803 is the fifth oldest such bridge in the world. The river Lark flows beside the formal gardens and terraces of the South Front into a large lake stocked with a variety of fish. Further into the park lies unspoiled land with an abundance of grassland and wildlife.
