King's College SchoolEstablished 1829
- an independent day school in Wimbledon offering a range of attractive venues for filming and events.
The School occupies seventeen acres on the south side of Wimbledon Common where building and development of the campus has been almost continuous since 1895. Many of the buildings are typical of a 19th century school with all the expected facilities including a 192 seat theatre, cloisters, a memorial library, a chapel and a Victorian Great Hall. There are a further twenty-four acres of playing fields with cricket & tennis pavilions. The School's own boathouse is on the Tideway at Putney.
The capacious Great Hall has wood panelling, an organ gallery and leaded windows and is a distinguished example of Victorian architecture.
