Many of the bedrooms have four poster beds and en-suite bathrooms. There are some striking features which include a 30ft, vaulted ceiling with sumptously dressed gothic windows in the King's Room, wide Elizabethan four posted bed, a Copper Bateau Bath, one of the few remaining Edwardian canopy baths and an elegant panelled bedroom
Maunsel House is an ideal setting for all types of events, and our on-site events team will be happy to help you plan every stage from conferences and team building to weddings and parties.

The house is licensed for civil ceremonies in the glorious ballroom or in the wisteria garlanded gazebo. Also within the Maunsel Estate is St Michael Church, a candlelit Saxon church in walking distance from the house.
There is a Pergola prividing a colourful array of scented flowers, a beautiful Dovecote housing fantailed doves and peacocks. Set in the original walled kitchen garden surrounded by the pretty orchard and one hundred year old Magnolia Tree, overlooking our rare-breed chicken pen and newly designed 120 foot border, it provides a secluded haven with space for 150 guests
