The Oakley Court

The Oakley Court in Windsor is a stunning Victorian gothic mansion set in over 37 acres of beautiful English landscaped gardens with manicured lawns leading down to a large secluded stretch of the River Thames. Formerly a private house which fell into disrepair it has been used extensively as a filming location due to its magnificent façade and Victorian features and its close proximity to the Bray Studios (now primarily rehearsal studios). In the 1980’s the property was extensively yet sympathetically refurbished to preserve many of the historic characteristics including the ornamental ceilings, wood-panelled floors and sash windows and first opened as a hotel 29 years ago.
