Saint Felix School
With beautiful Southwold and the stunning Suffolk coast on its doorstep, Saint Felix School has an instant impact on anyone who visits.
Originally a school for genteel girls, the now co-educational school consists of Queen Anne style purpose built red brick buildings dating from 1897. Well crafted modern additions are set in a breezily expansive site a brisk walk away from the quaintly old fashioned sea side town of Southwold.
From the upper floors, a terrific view of the rolling Suffolk countryside can be seen, with a refreshing glimpse of the sea and coast. The buildings all unite together in providing a unique and interesting roofscape.
The school and its grounds would be the perfect setting for a private house or school-based film, and would suit the likes of a dramatic adaptation of Joanne Harris’s ‘Gentlemen and Players.’
