Stover School

The Stover Estate was designed and built by George Templer in the Late 1770s. The majority of the grey stone buildings are Georgian in period and style. The main hall has columns and impressive staircases both inside and out.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and have features such as high double doors, decorative plasterwork mouldings, polished wood flooring and tall bay windows.

There is a large stone brick floored stable courtyard surrounded by arched stable buildings.

The current estate extends to 62 acres with grass fields and wooded areas. Old abandoned grey stone buildings can be found to have grown into the foliage providing unique filming and photographic opportunities.
