Wellington Country Park

Wellington Country Park and Campsite is located just off the A33 near Riseley, in between Reading and Basingstoke on the Hampshire Berkshire border. Established in 1974 by the Eighth Duke and Duchess of Wellington, the Park provides a destination where the growing population of the Thames Valley and all over the South of England can enjoy outdoor pursuits, discover natural history and develop an interest in the countryside.

The Park is set within 350 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside. With lakes, parkland, open spaces, mature deciduous and coniferous woods linked by nature trails, picnic sites and superb play areas and equipment, including adventure play/toddler areas, sand pits, slides, miniature railway, crazy golf, nature trail maze and Animal Farm, the Park offers the chance for relaxation, entertainment and education all in one place.

Trails deep into the woods, allow you to explore and experience an array of animals, trees and birdlife and to see our herd of red and fallow deer up close!! You can choose between The Water Fowl, Bird Spotter's, Antler or Woodland Trails!
