Established in 1988 by Mr Gerry Pickard equipped with 1 ambulance and 1 ambulance car West Country Private Ambulance Service has progressed and expanded to 15 employees and 6 ambulances to date. Based in Cullompton Devon and Covering the whole of the UK and with Contracts with Wonford Hospital in Exeter and Musgrove hosp in Taunton our services are as much in demand by the NHS as with the Private Sector. All our staff are trained to a minimum qualification of Ambulance Aid and with an ongoing programme all staff will be trained to technician level by the middle of 2004.

As well as providing an Ambulance service our head quarters are now the BAA approved regional training Centre with a 1.100 Sq foot training room able to cater for up to 50 people at one time. Courses are held throughout the year ranging from Basic first aid to Technician courses for which Gerry Pickard is the Approved trainer. As we continue to expand our commitment and care to the patient is of the paramount importance and with the dedication of our loyal staff West Country Private Ambulance Service will continue to grow and provide the excellent service we are proud to have presented for the last 15 years.
