French Officers Mess, the French Air force were based at Elvington during WW2.
The museum’s famous ‘NAAFI’ restaurant is situated close to the Control Tower and is linked by corridor to the Elvington Room which is a spacious lecture theatre and conference centre with an authentic wartime atmosphere.
