Manchester Cathedral
Manchester Cathedral has been a place of welcome and hospitality for over 1300 years. The current medieval structure built by Henry V dates from 1421 with the lower part of the Tower dating back over 800 years.The public realm which surrounds the cathedral together with the interior setting of the cathedral offers an ideal place for filming. Set in the heat of Manchester City Centre, the cathedral has the widest Nave of any cathedral in Northern Europe with a seated capacity of over 1,000
That said we have the following spaces which could support a variety of film locations, this includes:
- The Nave (905 sq.m) has a capacity of 1100 people
- The Regimental Chapel (206 sq.m) has a capacity of 300 people
- The Library (53 sq.m)
- The Chapter House (26 sq.m)
- The Refectory (48 sq.m)
