Newhouse Estate

There are a host of locations internally and externally for both still and film shooting and Newhouse provides great camera positions for filming the stunning surroundings.

Production Designers and Art Directors will be pleased to know that this Grade I listed Jacobean Manor house contains - amongst others - two very large rooms. The ballroom and dining room are both sizeable and very adaptable for filming purposes. The Library, although smaller in size, is wonderful in design and still has its original early 17th century fireplace. Externally the views looking from a distance towards the house make a brilliant period backdrop.

Newhouse is not new to filming and has been used in the past for the setting of a Ruth Rendell Mystery 'Kissing the Gunners Daughter' and for 3 or 4 years was home to the filming of 'Dogs with Dunbar'.
