Bodrhyddan Hall
However, possibly the greatest attraction for producers will be the gardens which are now regularly appearing in publications as a feature of national significance in Wales. Laid out by William Andrews Nessfield, father of the architect and a noted garden designer of the period, they occupy in total 8.5 acres (3.5 ha). They vary in character between the formal Parterre, topiary and lawns of the upper gardens to the more relaxed Pleasance with its ponds and Summer House to the semi-wild Dingle and the woodland walks beyond.
Whether taken as a whole or in separate, selected parts, I believe Bodrhyddan with its unique and particular atmosphere has much to offer the movie and television industry.
