Gloddaeth Hall

Gloddaeth Hall sits within 30 acres of land on the outskirts of the Welsh coastal resort of Llandudno. Made up of a selection of building from the Tudor and later Victorian period, the estate was the ancestral home of the Mostyn family and is still owned today by the Mostynís. The estate now though is home to St Davidís College an independent school who have been tenants at Gloddaeth since 1965.

The history of Gloddaeth Hall is present in each of the buildings as many original features from both the Tudor and the victorian eraís remain. At the heart of the estates main buildings is the original Tudor Minstrel Hall with many original surviving features. The hall is possibly the finest example of Tudor interior design still to survive in a working building. The grounds are accessed by a ĺ mile private drive that weaves through dense wood up the side of the valley below the estate Ė of which Gloddaeth Hall dominates.
